Dear RSC members!

Our first meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2005

Tentatively, the location for the meeting is South Mountain Reservation in west Orange county of NJ. Right now we found a hotel close to Newark airport that allows dogs: Sheraton Newark Airport (128 Frontage Road, Newark 07114, 973-690-5500). If you know if another one, please let everyone know. It might be possible to get a van there to transport everyone and their dogs to this park.

Please let us know if you would rather camp since the above location is not a campground. We would look for better place in the area to suit you.

Everyone's responce is VERY important.

Anna Schroeder

P.S. Thank you Tatiana for all the work you did!

P.P.S. Congratulations to our breed expert Elena Kryukova on the birth of her first baby Michael!!!

Is anyone living near northern Indiana planning to attend the meeting?  I would like to go, but cannot drive that far by myself and would like to consider sharing a ride.

To everybody attending our first meeting!

The meeting is in the wooded area. Please, use Frontline on your dogs prior to the meeting as a precaution. Lyme vaccine is not routinely being used on the dogs in our area. Make sure, also, that you dress appropriately. Light colored is preferred as well as long pants and long sleeves. The weather is going to be hot but we are in the shaded area. Water will be provided but it is advisable to bring coolers with cold drinks for you and ice. If you have any questions, please, post it.

Just a quick note that meeting went well, although attendance could have been much better. It was great to see:

Molly (Niga)

Dina (Belashka Dina)

Sofie (Varsonofia)

Nattie

Fedya

Basya

Bimka

Dzhessi

Dzhekson

and their owners!!!

It was a little hectic as dogs were very excited, but each dog was thoroughly examined, checked and measured. The decription will be posted along with pictures on our website... hopefully soon.
